Mercy That Draws Us Into God’s Heart

Divine Mercy is ultimately an invitation into intimacy. Jesus does not simply forgive us; He draws us close. He wants us to know the Father as He knows the Father—to rest in that love, to trust it, to live from it.

After a tragic school shooting in Nashville, thousands gathered for a city‑wide prayer vigil—parents, teachers, clergy, first responders, and students standing shoulder to shoulder. They lit candles, sang hymns, and held silence together. In their grief, they created a sanctuary of compassion where hearts were drawn back to God, back to one another, back to hope.

“In the evening of life, we will be judged on love alone.” — St. John of the Cross

I am going to my Father and your Father. (John 20:17)

How is God inviting you to rest more deeply in His heart of mercy?
