Mercy That Flows Through Us

Divine Mercy is never meant to stop with us. When we receive mercy, we become vessels of it, carrying compassion into our relationships, our communities, our world.

In Chicago, an interfaith coalition of churches, synagogues, and mosques recently partnered to provide temporary housing and legal assistance for newly arrived migrant families. Volunteers are cooking meals, offering translation help, and tutoring children. Mercy becomes a shared language, flowing through people who might otherwise never meet.

“If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.” — St. Teresa of Calcutta

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. (Luke 6:36)

Who in your life might need a taste of the mercy God has shown you?
