Fear and faith can be opposite sides of the same coin. But as I’m maturing in my perspective of life, I’m realizing I have a choice on which side I decide to stand.
“Be not afraid” is a consistent message in Scripture. And we do this through resting in our gift of faith. We hear that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. The beauty of faith washes away our fears to rely on a source and power outside of ourselves. We learn to accept our littleness and God’s omnipotence.
He wasn’t afraid anymore. He was at peace. He had learned to inhabit himself. He knew who he was and who he wasn’t, and he had embraced the wisdom of acceptance.
