Practicing virtue draws us to the good. Through virtue we live the good life.
As I practice the virtues of fidelity, generosity, compassion, mercy, gratitude, humility, simplicity, tolerance, purity, gentleness, and good faith, they prepare me for love. These habits create the fertile ground for love to emerge in my life and to strengthen me.
In the evening of life, we will be judged on love alone.
St John of the Cross
Lord, thank You for the gift of daily practice and the good life of love.
