Did you know that there are three theological virtues: faith, hope, and charity (or love)? They inform all the moral virtues and give life to them. They infuse us with supernatural powers.
As I pray the Rosary each day, I begin by asking for an increase in faith, hope, and love. God desires greatly to give me these things. Mother Mary advocates to her Son on my behalf as she wants me to have the virtues that allow me to bring God’s light into the world. We need charity as it upholds and purifies our human ability to love and raises it to the supernatural perfection of divine love. CCC1827
By charity, we love God above all things and our neighbor as ourselves for love of God. Charity, the form of all the virtues, “binds everything together in perfect harmony.
Colossians 3:14
Lord, please wrap me in your perfect theological love.
