When You’re Hurting

Pain has a way of making us feel alone. Even when surrounded by family, friends, and well-meaning support, some hurts run so deep that words cannot fully express them.

Yet one of the most comforting truths of our faith is that God does not simply see our outward circumstances. He sees the hidden wounds, the disappointments we carry, the prayers we struggle to pray, and the tears that fall when no one else is watching. Nothing about our pain is invisible to Him.

There is profound comfort in knowing that we never have to convince God of our suffering. He already knows. Before we speak a word, He understands the ache in our hearts. Before we shed a tear, He sees it. Before we ask for help, He is already near.

When grief feels heavy or discouragement settles in, this simple breath prayer can become a gentle reminder of God’s presence:

Inhale: Father, You see my pain.
Exhale: You know every tear.

With each breath, we release the burden of carrying our hurt alone. We remember that our Heavenly Father is not distant or indifferent. He is compassionate, attentive, and deeply concerned with every detail of our lives.

Sometimes God’s healing comes quickly. Other times, He walks beside us through a longer journey of restoration. In either season, He remains faithful. He sees the pain we cannot explain and holds us with a love that never fails.

Today, if your heart is hurting, pause for a moment and breathe deeply. Let this truth settle into your soul:

You are not suffering unseen.
You are not crying unnoticed.
Your Father sees your pain and knows every tear.

And because He sees, you can trust that He is already at work, bringing comfort, strength, and hope for the road ahead.
