This final reflection brings our journey back to one central point: service. Christ calls us and sends us forth to “spread goodness in our world.” This mission is a call to service in every aspect of our lives, regardless of our vocation.
“Dilexit Nos” reminds me that my love for my community, especially for the poor and abandoned, is the very fuel that feeds my friendship with Jesus. My belovedness is fully realized when I see and serve Jesus in others. In my efforts to do good, I discover that He is working alongside me.
As Matthew 25:40 says, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
