Mercy That Makes Us New

God’s mercy does not simply patch us up; it re‑creates us. Divine Mercy brings us from non‑being into being, from despair into hope, from fear into freedom.

After the catastrophic floods in California earlier this year, entire neighborhoods in the Central Valley began rebuilding together. Volunteers helped tear out ruined drywall, farmers shared equipment, and churches opened their doors as temporary shelters. In places where water had destroyed homes and livelihoods, new beginnings are emerging—slowly, tenderly, unmistakably.

God, please help our hearts be fully alive with Your love, giving You glory, bearing Your fruit to feed the world. You are always making everything new even if it’s beyond our sight. Let us live as Easter people in our Good Friday world.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

“The glory of God is man fully alive.” — St. Irenaeus

Behold, I make all things new. (Revelation 21:5)

Where is God’s mercy inviting you into a new beginning?
