Finding God's Goodness

Week 46. Language of Life. Always Learning.

Valuing others is justice. The virtue of faith grows our faithfulness.

Do you spend time in reflection or is every minute filled with activity, to dos, or mindlessly scrolling through social? How often do you take a good hard look at yourself? Whether it be physically in the mirror or through an inventory of your thoughts and actions?

When you take a few minutes, what do you see. And to what do you compare whether you’re hitting the mark?  For me, my goal is to live a life of love, keeping an eternal perspective.  To live accordingly, I need a North Star and to compare myself with a source of truth.  I also invite the Spirit to help me assess my actions and motives each day.

The Holy Bible is like a mirror before our mind’s eye. In it we see our inner face. From the Scriptures we can learn our spiritual deformities and beauties. And there too we discover the progress we are making and how far we are from perfection.

Pope St Gregory the Great

Thank you, Lord, for always teaching me and steering me towards a life in You
