It has taken me a long while but now I’m starting to understand what it means to be truly blessed. This realization gives me a calming sense of peace.
God blesses me as I wake up to His presence and am aware of my poverty of spirit and need for Him. As I choose to live a peaceful life, I’m living in my inheritance as an adopted child of God by my baptism. The light shines upon my face and I am truly blessed.
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
