An Advent prayer recalling Jesus is life.
Jesus, during your life on earth you satisfied both the natural and spiritual hunger of all who came to you. You instructed Nicodemus who visited you by night. You gave the crowds who flock to you by day material food to satisfy their hunger and spiritual food to satisfy their spiritual hunger. You promised the Samaritan woman that water would quench her thirst forever.
Amen
Today I will stay in gratitude that you are life, Lord, that You are the breath in my lungs, and that I am called to praise You.
