The first step in conversion.
Conversion always begins with the acceptance of our failures and inclination to evil. It is said that St. Philip Neri used to look at himself in the mirror in the morning and say:
“Lord, watch out for Philip today lest again he betrays you.”
Today I will remember to get out of my own way and invite God to show me my limitations.
