Do not be afraid.
There is no reason to be scared of God. Fear of the Lord is a gift of the Holy Spirit through whom we are reminded of how small we are before God and of his love.

When we distance or separate ourselves from God, we live for money, for vanity, or power or pride. The holy fear of God sends us a warning to be careful that these things will not make us happy. When we are connected to God with a healthy Fear of the Lord, we are in awe of His presence. The only thing we should fear, is the thought of being separated God.
Today I will spend a few minutes examining my conscience to see where I might be disconnected from God in my life which helps cultivate the Gift of Fear of the Lord.
