Sometimes a passage we’ve known for years suddenly opens in a new way. That happened for me today as I read Paul’s words: “Whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.” I’ve always understood this in my mind, an important theological truth, a steady anchor for faith. But today it echoed differently. It moved from my head into my heart.
