The Big Questions in Life

“Dilexit Nos”  invites us to ask the truly important questions: “Who am I, really? What am I looking for? What direction do I want to give to my life?”

These aren’t just intellectual exercises; they’re questions that lead me back to the heart, the source of all worthwhile life projects. To ask these questions is to honor the unique life God has given me. It’s in the asking and seeking that I affirm my belovedness and the purpose for which I was created. As the “Dilexit Nos”  states, “It is precisely when we return to the heart that we ask the truly important questions in life.”

As Matthew 6:21 reminds us, “For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.”

When was the last time you sat down to ask yourself the “big questions” about your life’s direction and purpose?

Take 15 minutes today to write down your answers to the questions: “Who am I, really? What am I looking for? What direction do I want to give to my life?”
