Being Loved

Living in the Light of Eternity

“Each woman who lives in the light of eternity can fulfill her vocation, no matter if it is in marriage, in a religious order, or in a worldly profession.” — Edith Stein

I didn’t know much about Edith Stein’s remarkable story until recently, and I’m thoroughly enjoying learning about this incredible woman. Her words resonate deeply with the essence of living a purposeful life. Every woman has a unique calling— not every woman is destined to be a mother, a nun, or a Fortune 500 executive. However, each woman is meant to discover her purpose on this earth and to pursue it with intention and grace.

In the Christian tradition, vocation is more than a career or role—it’s a divine invitation to live a life that contributes to lasting happiness. When a woman understands her purpose and lets God be part of it, her vocation becomes a path to joy, peace, and fulfillment.

Whether your calling leads you to the home, the convent, or the boardroom, live it boldly. Let your life reflect eternity, and trust that God walks with you in every step of your journey.
