Reflections for contemplative living
If we aren’t working with God, we are working against Him. All is forgiven except blasphemy, or speaking against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven, either now or in eternity. We are known by our fruits, and whatever is in our heart determines what we say.
I’m off to a good start, thanking God for another day to be kind to my husband, supportive and loving to my family, and the ability to contribute towards a solid day’s work.
A good person produces good things from the treasury and has a good heart and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. (Matthew 12:22)
What words will come from your heart today? Will they bear fruit and acquit you or condemn you?
