Finding God's Goodness

Week Thirty-Nine. Clean Heart. Good Fruit.

Valuing My Body. Temperance with love leads to chastity.

What comes to mind when you hear the word Chastity or the act of being Chaste? I’ve often struggled with this somewhat archaic language but the deeper I dive into learning its meaning, God grants me the understanding of its beauty and goodness.

Words I can relate to that describe chaste are: innocent, pure in thought and action, clean, spotless, simple, plain, bare. I’m attracted to these qualities and as I aspire to live a temperate life full of God’s love, I bear the fruit of this special gift and my life just works better.

You are the source of all that is good; help me God and cleanse all that is evil within my heart.  Let my life bear good fruit. Allow me to only speak words of truth and love.

Lord, be my rock and the foundation of my life.
