Finding God's Goodness

Week Twenty-Eight. Temperance. Being Seen.

Month Seven – Valuing My Body. Temperance with faith produces modesty.

I can’t help but think our true nature wants to be seen. The groans of our world are getting louder, calling for attention. From the floods and the fires, Mother Nature is calling to be seen.

How often does my body cry out to be heard and be seen? Seen with loving eyes without judgment and criticism. Held with tenderness and not pushed to try and be better or fixed. Calling to be loved just as it is. Appreciate it for helping me with the story of my life, giving birth to new life, caring for the wisdom of the divine. The temple of my soul.

Take care of your body as if you were going to live forever; and take care of your soul as if you were going to die tomorrow.

St. Augustine

Living in the temperance of loving myself, oriented towards the good which allows me to accept my reality, surrender and have peace of heart. Bringing new life into my world.

Today, I will see and appreciate my body for the magnificent being it is.
