Where along your path today have you seen the gentle face of grace? For starters, I’ve been given another day of life to touch others and to live as my best self. Living life to its fullest is marked by loving well and this is my resurrection story.
The face of grace comes in many forms. Many times it is “my neighbor” gently guiding me deeper down the path of wholeness and holiness. It can look like a book given to me by a boss on Searching for and Maintaining Peace, or a colleague sharing information on a silent retreat he attended which sparked my curiosity and action to attend on my part, or a quote from a co-worker by St. Francis de Sales that grounds me throughout many days. All these ways are examples of how the gentle face of grace shows up in a person’s life. These are moments when I encountered Christ through the grace of God, redirecting my life through a family member, friend, neighbor or even a stranger.
Lord, how can I let You speak through me with gentleness today to someone in need?
