Meaning, truth, and kindness are my constant teachers. They help me live through fear, pain, and disappointment. They are flames that light my heart. But flames burn as well as give off light.
I think of all the pain I have felt when I was not living in the acceptance of and in the reality of the truth. Truth is gathered and enlightened through cultivating deep presence and listening. It is my daily practice of seeing and accepting things as they are. My practice of just being and not doing.
My relationship with meaning, truth and kindness leads me into wholeness and holiness. As I awaken to the presence of my whole being, I grow in intimacy with all things of God’s creation. I am living in the truth of our connectedness and God’s goodness.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
1 John 1:8
Lord, thank you for making me walk in your truth and teaching me, for you are my God, my savior.
