So much of the path to spiritual growth is in awareness. Once we can start surrendering to a power greater than ourselves, we can start seeing through a lens greater than our myopic and limited viewpoint. We can start accepting our wholeness and holiness rather than living in the struggle of brokenness and misalignment from our purpose.
When I sit in God’s presence with no agenda except an invitation to love me, this is the path to true transformation. God works in mysterious ways within my heart and shows me the path to love when I allow myself to be. The Spirit of truth within wakes up and takes over, changing my perspective to thrive in love.
If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be with you.
John 14:15-17
