An Advent prayer to hunger for Christ.
Lord, enlighten our minds, deliver us from all fear, and make us totally open to your grace. Let us grasp the deep meaning of our existence and of our lifelong hunger. Help us to see that we hunger for you who are the living bread and the fountain of perpetual life. Aid us to overcome the desires that may obscure this true hunger so that we may run to meet you as you come again in your grace and in every person we encounter along our life ‘s journey to you.
