What Rules Your Heart

Season of thanksgiving in prayer

This past Sunday, we celebrated Christ the King and ended the liturgical year.  Who is Christ for you?  Is he the sovereign king that you cherish and obey when times are only good? We are called to let him sit on the throne of our heart always and we can do this through the lens of gratitude.  I love this quote: gratitude is the memory of the heart – St. Mary Euphrasia Pelletier. Let us remember today and always!

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Colossians 3:17

Thank you Lord, in every task, big or small, you draw me to do it with a thankful heart. Let me listen to your voice that encourages me to see every moment as an opportunity to action and give thanks. Amen

Thankful Heart

Season of thanksgiving in prayer

Do you remember to express gratitude in every situation? This is actually what God ordains for us, a heart full of thankfulness.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1Thessalonians 5:18

Gracious God,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude, giving thanks in all circumstances, for this is Your will for us in Christ Jesus. We acknowledge Your presence in every moment of our lives, both in times of joy and in times of challenge.

Thank You for the blessings that brighten our days and for the trials that strengthen our faith. In every situation, we see Your hand at work, guiding us, teaching us, and drawing us closer to You.

Help us to maintain a spirit of gratitude, no matter what we face. May we always remember that Your love and grace are sufficient for us. Teach us to trust in Your perfect plan and to find peace in Your will.

We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have received salvation and the promise of eternal life. In Him, we find our hope, our joy, and our reason to give thanks.

May our lives be a testament to Your goodness and a reflection of Your love. Let our hearts overflow with thanksgiving, and may we always seek to glorify You in all that we do.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Embracing Gratitude

Season of thanksgiving in prayer

As we navigate through our daily lives, it’s essential to pause and give thanks for the blessings we receive. Start your day by acknowledging the enduring goodness and love of the Lord. No matter the circumstances, His love remains constant.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Psalm 107:1

We come before You with hearts overflowing with gratitude. We give thanks to You, LORD, for You are good, and Your love endures forever. Your goodness is beyond measure, and Your love is steadfast and unchanging.

Thank You for the countless blessings You have poured into our lives. For the gift of life, for the love of family and friends, for the beauty of creation, and for the daily provisions that sustain us, we are deeply grateful.

In moments of joy and in times of trial, Your love remains our constant source of strength and comfort. We thank You for Your faithfulness, for hearing our prayers, and for guiding us with Your wisdom.

May our lives be a continuous offering of thanks and praise to You. Help us to always remember Your goodness and to share Your love with others. Let our hearts be filled with gratitude, not just today, but every day.

We praise Your holy name and give You all the glory, now and forever.

Counting Every Blessing

Season of thanksgiving in prayer

Are you counting all your blessings? Pray the words from Rend Collective:

I was lost, now I’m found by the Father
I’ve been changed from a ruin to treasure
I’ve been given a hope and a future
I’ve been blessed beyond all measure

I am counting every blessing, counting every blessing
Letting go and trusting when I cannot see
I am counting every blessing, counting every blessing
Surely every season You are good to me

Thanksgiving for Healing

Season of thanksgiving in prayer

Omnipotent and eternal God,
You watch over your children,
with your tender and loving care.
I thank you this day
for your mercy and grace.
I am grateful for your healing power,
and for the abundant blessings
you have given me.
But most of all,
I am thankful for the promise of salvation,
given through your Son, our Lord.
Through him, when all is completed,
there will be no more sickness or pain.
I pray in his name.
