We have created a culture of hurry where we pack more things in a day than is humanly possible. But we are human, we are not machines. We need the space to just be and not always be doing. I rarely think of Jesus this way but lately the living word has been helping me see this persona. Jesus as Warrior shows us how to sacrifice himself for the good of others. And to take care of the elderly, the defenseless, those who cannot provide for themselves, and above all, the children – the future of humanity.
