Renewal Through Awe
There comes a moment in every season of renewal when we realize we cannot transform ourselves.
Stories of people releasing long-held burdens—grief, resentment, expectations—remind us that surrender is not giving up but opening up.
Lent invites us to loosen our grip and let God meet us in the places we’ve tried to manage alone. When we surrender, we make room for grace to do what our effort cannot.
“Into your hands I commit my spirit…” (Psalm 31:5).
