Returning to Belovedness
Joy has a way of slipping out of our lives unnoticed, especially in heavy seasons. Yet across cities, people are creating “joy spaces”—murals, gardens, music—to remind one another that beauty still rises.
Lent invites us to notice where joy is trying to return, even in small ways. Joy is not a distraction from God; it is often a sign of God’s nearness.
“Rejoicing comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5).
Question: Where is joy quietly knocking at the door of your heart?
