Day 18 — The Gift of Being Held

 Returning to Belovedness

In seasons of upheaval—natural disasters, personal losses, unexpected change—communities often rally around one another with compassion. These moments reveal something true about God’s heart: we are not meant to carry life alone.

Lent invites us to let ourselves be held, to lean into the strength and tenderness of God. When we stop trying to manage everything, we discover a Presence that steadies us.

“Underneath are the everlasting arms.” (Deuteronomy 33:27).
