Returning to Belovedness
So much renewal begins with remembering who we are in God’s eyes.
In a world that constantly measures worth by productivity or perfection, movements emphasizing dignity and self-worth remind us of a deeper truth: we are held, chosen, and loved before we ever accomplish a thing.
Lent invites us to return to that grounding place, where identity is received rather than earned.
“I have called you by name, you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1).
