Being Loved

Meeting Christ on the Road

In the rush of daily life—amid deadlines, dishes, and the quiet ache of uncertainty—it is a profound consolation to remember that the Lord Jesus takes the initiative. He does not wait for us to arrive at perfection or clarity. He comes to us.

The providence of God is not distant or abstract. It is tender, fatherly, and humbling. It meets us in the very fabric of our lives: in suffering and joy, in confusion and hope. Like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, we often walk unaware, hearts heavy with the weight of our own stories. And yet, Christ draws near. He listens. He asks, “What is happening in your life?”

This question is not rhetorical. It is an invitation to communion. To speak honestly. To be known.

To live life as prayer is to recognize that every moment—every conversation, every sorrow, every celebration—is a place where God desires to meet us. The road itself becomes sacred. Not because it is easy, but because He walks it with us.

And sometimes, we need companions to help us recognize Him.

Spiritual accompaniment is one of the most tender ways we can reflect Christ’s presence to one another. It is not about giving answers, but about walking together, listening deeply, and holding space for grace to unfold. Just as Jesus walked with the disciples, asked questions, and opened the Scriptures, we too are called to walk with others in love and reverence.

If you find yourself longing for clarity, healing, or simply someone to walk with you in faith, I invite you to reach out. Whether you have questions, need prayer, or desire spiritual conversation, I would be honored to accompany you.

You are not alone on the road. Christ is near. And so are those who walk in His name.
