Finding Sacred Rest

The Sacred Heart represents protection and forgiveness. It is Christ’s Divine love and compassion and one of the five wounds of Christ from the crucifixion. This serves as a mystical vehicle for union with the Divine and for reparation.

Today is the solemnity of the most Sacred Heart of Jesus. I was going back through some of my pondering and found a reflection I’m sharing today. Make our hearts like Yours Lord Jesus, may we rest in Your sacred heart.

Rest In My Sacred Heart

I worry about having enough,

Jesus, I trust in you.

I worry I am enough,

Jesus, I trust in you.

I worry I have not done enough,

Jesus, I trust in you.

My smallness of faith.

Exposed in my worry.

I am grateful for all you have given me,

Jesus, I trust in you.

I am confident and your beloved,

Jesus, I trust in you.

I am exactly where I need to be,

Jesus, I trust in you.

Nothing is hidden from you.

I rest in your sacred heart.
