I’ve always been drawn to this beautiful prayer called Anima Christi or Soul of Christ, a 14th century prayer usually said after communion.
The prayer expresses a desire for sanctification, salvation, and a deeper union with Jesus Christ, seeking purification, strength, and protection from evil through His sacrifice.
Take a minute to discern what you need in your life today to be the person God designed you to be? Do you need to be saved? Inspired? Cleansed? Strengthened?
Let’s draw near to the Divine Love who wants to make us like Him, whole and holy. Amen
