Christ’s promise at the Last Supper—“Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father and I will make our dwelling with him”—is all that we need to be happy.
Do you accept Christ’s peace and live a “rooted”life or do you let your heart be troubled?
Barnabas and Paul “dedicate their lives to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” that they might gleam with the splendor of God and draw others into the apostolic faith. God acknowledges such dedication by ordaining that the names of the twelve Apostles be inscribed on the wall of the heavenly Jerusalem.
The same is offered to us who refuse to let our hearts be troubled, but who cling to the name of Christ instead.
