The “grace of a sister” can refer to the inherent goodness, kindness, and unwavering support a sister embodies. Today I celebrate, my sister Melanie, who has been a faithful woman in my life.
We weren’t born in the same family but by marriage, we became family. God knew we needed each other to navigate and walk the journey of life.
Mel’s inherent goodness is reflected in her empathy, compassion and unwavering support. She serves as a source of strength and comfort, always offering a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on. We not only shared a room growing up, we shared secrets, joys and sorrows. And to this day, we continue to do the same despite the miles between us. She has been a guiding maternal hand in my wonderful and messy life, touching my heart with love, encouragement and care.
