Novena of Gratitude – Day 7
Lord God, we do not always remember to thank You as we ought for all You have done for us and given us. We praise You for Your goodness and offer our prayers of thanksgiving to You today for all You have done for us and given us.
It can be very difficult for us to suffer well and to offer all that we suffer to You. But we should strive each day to unite our sufferings to You and to even be thankful that You have allowed us the privilege of imitating You and of joining You in Your sufferings.
We thank You for all of Your blessings, and we particularly thank You today for allowing us to share in Your sufferings!
Help us to grow in imitation of You in our lives, even when it is very difficult. Help us to serve You more faithfully each day.
And I especially pray in this novena (mention your intentions here).
Lord, hear our prayers!
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
