The yeast and the mustard seed demonstrate the mystery of transformation. Look around you today, and notice the signs of God’s transformation – the beauty of fall, the kindness of neighbors, forgiveness between children, hope for the world despite violence and war.
God works through us if we are open, when we work for good, show kindness and justice no matter how small our actions because they can give rise to ripples of results.
As we open our hearts and minds to Christ, let’s ask for the mystery of transformation to take place in our hearts and in our actions.
Today I will sing the goodness of the Lord, living in awe and expectation.
