Do you plant weeds or seeds with your words? There is a supernatural power in every word that comes out of our mouth. The tongue has the power of life and death. Proverbs 18:21.
Negative words of doubt, fear and unbelief can curse the situations and people in your life. On the other hand, speaking God’s promises brings powerful blessings to situations, people, and your life. Studies show that we speak about 20,000 words a day. Think about each word you speak as an opportunity to have God’s promises take shape in your life and others. Such glorious potential we have.
What comes out of our mouths can be both blessing and cursing, so why not lean into blessing? God’s promises are anything he says in His word that reveals His perfect will for you. The Lord says:
I am ready to perform my Word. Jeremiah 1:12.
My word that goes out from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire. Isaiah 55:11.
Instead of planting weeds with your words, plant seeds of God‘s promises
