We can do more with the grace of God than we think.
Oftentimes I think I need to raise myself up to God, meeting him on His level and sometimes I do. But, more often than not, what I need to do is to bring myself down in humility. I can pull heaven down and bring the goodness of God back into the world.
There is no place better to pull down heaven than at the Mass where we are joined at the table of the Lord, in communion. This intimacy allows the light of Christ shine ever so brightly within, sending its rays throughout the world.
Thank you, Lord, for calling me to cooperate with Your grace.
