Living in the Light

Do you live in the light, with each breath finding what is pleasing to the Lord?  As Christians, this is our destiny and how we were meant to live.

This isn’t the journey of life the world teaches us to live, one of comfort and personal gain feeding our ego.  The fruits of living in the light are goodness, righteousness, and truth. These are the good fruits that expose the darkness of the world.  They shine a light on what needs healing, justice, and love, drawing us a little closer to the Lord and seeing the light of His face. 

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

Ephesians 5:8-11

This is what pleases God, when we walk in the light of our faith and accompany others along their journey.
