The Pursuit 

We are all looking for something. These are the things sweet dreams are made of. At times, we aren’t even aware of what “it” is.  But deep down it is to be known and to be loved. 

We are so loved by our Creator that we are constantly being pursued.  God wants to be central to our life, wanting what is best for us.  We are called to trust in God’s ultimate goodness.  

God, You love me enough to pursue me. Let me count the ways:

Through the goodness of my husband. Through the goodness of my family. Through the goodness of my dear friends. Through the beautiful sunset. Through the meal on my table. Through another day on earth to be with my family. To contribute to my community through work and service.  

We can travel the world and seven seas searching for love but when we stop and notice, it’s right before us. Pursuing us.
