Free me from any evil passions. Heal my heart of all disorderly affections. Purify me so I may become fit to love, courageous to suffer, and constant to persevere.
As I see and love the whole of me, I begin to see others with the same clarity. Love is an excellent thing, a great good indeed. It lightens our burden and makes the bittersweet savory. It spurs us on to do great things and excites us to desire always that which is most perfect.
