There is really not much that we can do to fulfill our destiny. What we can do is learn to love well. When we do this, our generosity grows, bringing justice into the world.
Learning to love means putting God’s will above mine and learning to love as God loves. How does God love?
God loves all of his creation with the same compassionate, merciful, and kind love. We are loved as much as the animals that bring us joy and the planet on which we live; these are a few things God’s creativity brought to life for His goodness. As we discover this belovedness, we learn how to be human with a spirit of generosity.
