Why is it said that the rejected will lead the revival for love and justice? It is because the rejected help us open our hearts, which then leads us down the path of compassion.
Who are the rejected? They are the widows, the orphans, the divorced, the sick, the poor, and the homeless. Who do you see in your day-to-day life that draws you near aligning your heart with theirs? This companionship helps us both along the journey. We give love and compassion to the other and in turn we are healed within the space that draws us near to them. This is the cornerstone of compassion.
The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone! This is God’s work. And it is marvelous in our eyes!
