The spirit of faithfulness is manifest when we give others their due, have an attitude of faith and always seek to know and live God’s will for our lives. We are given the gift of faith; however, most of us have to work to find this gift. When I put my agenda aside, seek God’s will, and surrender to the call, I live a good life the way it was designed.
The good life boils down to a few simple things: walk humbly, live justly and love with kindness.
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8
Conform my heart to Your will. My help is from You, the one who made heaven and earth. You are my guardian, my shade and you are always beside me. Guard me from evil, all of my life, my coming and going now and forever. Help me pray without ceasing, equip me for every good work. Prepare my heart for Your word and let me live in faith.
