Settle in and take a few minutes to ponder –
The Iron Law of Our Destiny
Every sense experience tends to become a thought;
Every thought tends to become a desire;
Every desire tends to become action;
Every action tends to become a habit;
[positively- a virtue, negatively- a vice]
Every habit forms a character;
Our character determines our destiny.
Take a few deep breaths and invite the Holy Spirit to be present in this time together and reading of sacred scripture (lectio divina):
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are …immodesty… But the fruit of the spirit is charity, joy, peace, patience, benignity, goodness, long suffering, mildness, faith, modesty, chastity
Galatians 5:19, 22, 23
What is this passage saying to me?
Meditate in a moment of silence and listen to the voice of God.
Pray and begin a dialogue with the Lord and open yourself up to His will.
Contemplate and listen closely with your heart and put into practice what He has told you
