There is a simple way to see if I am living in a place of loving myself. Am I making good, life-giving choices for myself, stoking the fires within to bring my best self to the world? Are my thoughts, words, and actions kind? If not, I need to adjust my heart.
When I am drawn towards living in God’s love, I want nothing more than to be united with this life-giving source, a source of goodness and mercy. Teaching me the meaning of love, the beauty of kindness as a good measure of how I love my best life.
A good person out of the store of goodness in his heart produces good, but an evil person out of a store of evil produces evil; for from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks.

Lord, thank You for drawing me to Your goodness, giving me a good measure for kindness.
