As spiritual beings, we are all given the spiritual gift of hope but does hope live in your heart? As I eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed, I know I have all the spiritual gifts I need. But am I open to them or better yet am I open to Him?
Faith, hope, and love are the theological gifts we are given by our baptism. My faithfulness to God opens my eyes to how these gifts are part of who I am. As I become vulnerable, I awaken to what it means to live in faith, hope and love. I can choose hope over hopelessness and become hope to those hopeless in the world.
God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:9
Lord, thank You for calling me in Your faithfulness so I can be faithful to You, bearing the perfect gift of hope.
