Guide to Goodness

A Resource to Deepen Your Prayer Life

Are you interested in Deepening Your Prayer Life?

As we face the final months of 2021, how is your heart? How grounded do you feel?  Are you able to find moments of peace and joy throughout your day or are the days a blur and chaotic? Do you need some refreshment for your soul?

If these questions give you some pause, I hope I can help.

It is easy to get into a reactionary mode, but it is not good to live there.  With a bit of time and intentionality, we can create a shift.  Additionally, we can learn from the masters in how to ground our hearts and minds.  And one of the best people I know to learn from is our spiritual Mother Mary.  She gives us many gifts, including a powerful way to pray in the Rosary.

The Rosary is a beautiful tool for meditation.  As a convert, I never understand all the fuss Catholics made about the Rosary. But God drew me in to learn and appreciate this beautiful prayer, and I now know what a profound spiritual impact it can have in your life.

My tribute to this journey is why I wrote There is Something About Mary.  This book is intended to offer readers three things.  First, to provide you a greater understanding of the Rosary and how it can deepen your prayer life.  Second, to help you grow in relationship with our spiritual mother Mary, see the life of Jesus through her eyes, and experience the gifts of the Rosary.  Third, to allow you to create space for silence and contemplation in your life.  My hope is that after your 31-day journey with There is Something About Mary, you will be drawn into greater silence and curiosity to pray the Rosary.  You may want to begin your journey on October 1 and pray with this book through the month of October, which is the month dedicated to the Holy Rosary.

Smitten With Goodness,
