Easter morning breaks open with surprise. The stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and life has risen where death once reigned.
Around the world, communities rebuild, relationships mend, and hope rises in places once marked by despair—quiet echoes of resurrection. Easter invites us to believe that God is still bringing life out of what we thought was finished. The risen Christ meets us in our ordinary moments, calling us by name and sending us into the world as bearers of hope.
Scripture: “He is not here; he has risen.” (Luke 24:6)
Question: What new life is God inviting you to step into with courage and joy?
A Final Easter Blessing
May the God who brings life out of what we thought was finished
meet you in every place that still feels tender, uncertain, or undone.
May the risen Christ call your name in the quiet of your heart
and awaken in you a joy that is deeper than circumstance,
steadier than fear,
truer than the stories you have carried.
May the Spirit breathe new life into the spaces you have opened,
the burdens you have surrendered,
the hopes you have dared to hold again.
May you discover resurrection not only in the empty tomb,
but in the small, hidden places of your own becoming—
in the courage to love,
the willingness to forgive,
the tenderness to begin again.
And may this Easter season be for you
a widening of light,
a deepening of peace,
and a renewal that continues to unfold long after these holy days have passed.
Christ is risen.
Christ is with you.
Christ is making all things new—even now.
Amen.
