As we continue to mourn Pope Francis‘s earthly departure, I’m reflecting on his life and legacy. I wanted to share a few thoughts from his funeral mass and pray you and I, by grace, live with a similar disposition and attitude:
Open heart towards everyone,
Attentive to the signs of the time and what the Holy Spirit is awakening,
Inclusive and humble,
Sees the church as a home for all, a home with its doors always open,
Spirit of welcome and listening,
Shared the anxieties and hopes of this time of globalization,
Build bridges, not walls,
Eager to be close to everyone with a marked attention to those in difficulty, giving himself without measure, to the least among us, including the marginalized,
It’s better to give than receive,
Seek to heal wounds,
Spread the seeds of faith.
Thank you Holy Father for your courage and generosity. May you rest in peace and eternal light. Amen 🙏

More people need to become humble and as the pope has said build bridges not walls, to become more like Christ and less of ourselves.
Blessings
